This is the Daily Offering to the Loving Heart of Jesus

For over hundred and fifty years now, the Apostleship of Prayer has offered to millions of people throughout the world an approach to prayer, and indeed to the whole of life, that is at once simple and profound. The Daily Offering is in the very center of the Apostleship of Prayer spirituality. By making this Offering slowly each morning you turn your attention to God in prayer for a short time, in that way making Him the center of the day.

What is important is that you join your day WITH JESUS in His OFFERING OF HIMSELF TO THE FATHER IN LOVE (EUCHARIST) for the salvation of all people.

PRAYER AND LIFE

For most of us, as we live our busy lives, prayer can be only a small part of the day. What we need is a prayer that is rooted in our daily living, and life that flows from prayer.

By making the Daily Offering with sincerity and love at the beginning of the day, you can make all your activities - whether in the home or in the office , on the farm or at school - into a kind of prayer.

In the Daily Offering you express your wish that all the activities of the day be lived out in a spirit of loving service. It is often a good idea at the end of the day to look back briefly to see if you did live it in that spirit. To the extent you did, thank God for it; wherever you failed, as god's help for tomorrow.
